No, we do not accept insurance. Although we are a medical practice, the services we perform are elective in nature and not covered by insurance. Wellness treatments are elective, so insurance policies rarely cover them. However, we offer a variety of payment options, including cash and credit. Third-party financing is also available for those who need another payment option.
Treatments that affect the living tissue are considered to be medical treatments. That means all medical treatments must be administered by trained and experienced professionals. RNs, nurse practitioners and doctors perform medical treatments.
Patients will have to fill out some forms when visiting a medical spa. Then, they will be escorted to a treatment room for a consultation. During the consultation, the physician will explain the treatment and answer any questions. In some cases, patients can receive the treatment right after the consultation. Sometimes, though, preparation is required.
Medical spas offer a variety of treatments, and each treatment has its own list of guidelines. However, most treatments do not require any downtime after the procedure. In fact, patients often can go back to work when they are done.
Some people are afraid of discomfort during treatment at Golden Wellness & Aesthetics. Health care providers do everything they can to minimize discomfort during these noninvasive procedures. They also ask patients to let them know if they experience any discomfort.
Adding a professional facial to your beauty regimen can keep your skin healthy, firm, and glowing, and ward off the development of wrinkles and lines. Cell turnover in the skin occurs about every three to four weeks, and a facial performed at those intervals will keep your skin looking its best. A series of treatments performed over several months can dramatically enhance your skin quality.

Neuromodulators like botox, dysport, and jeuveau should be used every 3-4 months for the best results. Fillers can last anywhere from 6-12 months, so a good rule of thumb is to return for assessment about every 6 months or so.
To prepare for IV therapy, ensure you are well-hydrated by drinking plenty of water the day before and on the day of your appointment, eat a light meal beforehand, wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothes with short sleeves for easier access to veins, and inform your healthcare provider about any recent medical changes or medications you are taking; consider bringing entertainment like books or a device to pass the time during your infusion session.

Key points to remember:

Hydration: Drink ample water before your IV therapy to make vein access easier.

Diet: Eat a light meal or snack prior to your appointment to avoid nausea.

Clothing: Wear loose-fitting clothes with short sleeves for easy IV insertion.

Communication: Inform your healthcare provider about any medical conditions, medications, or allergies.

Comfort items: Bring entertainment like books, magazines, or a device to pass the time during your infusion.

To prepare for a vitamin B12 injection, generally no special preparation is needed; however, you should: wash your hands thoroughly, inform your doctor about any allergies or medical conditions, and if self-injecting, ensure you understand the proper injection site and technique; you may also want to eat a light meal beforehand to minimize potential discomfort.

Key points to remember:

Consult your doctor: Always discuss your medical history and any medications you are taking with your doctor before receiving a B12 injection.

No specific dietary restrictions: Most people do not need to follow a special diet before a B12 injection.

Alcohol avoidance: Some practitioners may advise avoiding alcohol for a short period before the injection as it can thin the blood and increase bruising risk.

Injection site preparation: If self-injecting, clean the injection site with an alcohol swab and allow it to dry completely.

Observe for side effects: Be aware of potential side effects like mild pain, redness, or bruising at the injection site, and contact your doctor if you experience any severe reactions.
A chemical peel is one of the fastest, most effective ways to enhance your skin texture. Treatments are personalized to your needs, skin type, and complexion. Our experts have performed hundreds of chemical peels and are always eager to help more clients rejuvenate their skin in our relaxing office.

Key points to remember:

1. Don’t Exfoliate Before Treatment Avoid exfoliating at least one week before your appointment. Chemical peels are intensely exfoliating themselves, so you do not need to treat your skin beforehand. Over-exfoliating strips your natural skin barrier, leaving your skin more sensitive and vulnerable to irritation.

2. Hydrate! In addition to drinking enough water, you should apply hydration products to your skin to ensure it’s well-hydrated before treatment. Hydration ensures maximum skin health, which reduces sensitivity and irritation from treatment. It can also accelerate the natural healing process after your peel, leading to even more beautiful results.

3. Avoid Retinoids, Retinols, and Products That Contain Acids Except for hyaluronic acid, you should not apply any topicals containing acids such as salicylic acid, alpha hydroxy acid, or glycolic acid. Retinols, retinoids, and tretinoin (Retin-A) should also be avoided at least 5 days before treatment.

There are two reasons for this. First, these products can be harsh on your skin and make it more sensitive to the peel. Second, depending on the type of peel you are having, these ingredients could cause adverse reactions.

4. Use a Gentle Cleanser - Ask your aesthetician what products they recommend to prepare for a peel. The right cleanser will remove dirt from your pores without stripping away too much natural oil or disrupting your skin’s pH balance.

5. Do Not Tweeze, Shave, or Wax Your Skin - You should avoid shaving, waxing, or tweezing for at least 24 hours before your appointment. It’s best to avoid having any openings on the skin that could cause the peel to irritate the pores or hair follicles.
